When carpentry Thumann entered the timber house construction business in 2017, all the important steps had already been taken: right from the start, the carpentry company invested in an automated solid wood wall (MHM) production line, which enables it to build monolithic wooden houses in which the building materials come almost exclusively from the region. With this step, the carpentry became part of the large network of about 30 MHM producers throughout Europe.
